Each character plays their own personality and says things which reflect on their own personality.

Industry
In the making of this I have learnt many things such as the different roles involved in film making such as directing, sound editing and camera work. I have also learnt in working as a team and contributing everyone's ideas to the film and making sure that everyone has had equal input into the making of the film which is quite important because if someone doesn't talk and has a good idea it could make all the difference because they would be unheard.
The companies which are involved in the film making and the similar genre to us are BBC Films such as eastenders which are into social issue and characters which are dealing with emotion and other scenes containing emotional and dramatic themes. Also having conflict with others in their family and people around them.
The equipment/software that we used were Photoshop to put the mugshot background on the pictures that we took. We took the pictures in the green screen and then I edited them on Photoshop by implying the mugshot background on each of them.
Genre
The type of film that we made was a Drama, I have learnt that the characters deal with emotion and other emotional themes such as eastenders.
I have learnt that at a center of a drama/sad genre film there is a character in a deep emotional situation which we tried to portray in our film, in this case it was a girl was was raped by someone very close to her and her family.
We made it like this because that because we have learnt in this particular genre family members and close family friends hurt people that are very close to them this is also happens in eastender, so we applied some parts of soap series's into our film but with a slight twist.
Narrative
I have learnt that telling a story should be done in a systematic order and also that, other things surrounding the movie such as the plot which includes building and the place where the footage is shot because this reflects its genre and the type of film it is, for example you wouldn't have a beautiful sunset where a person is being killed it would normally be dark and spooky. Also I have learnt that keeping your audiences on track and keeping their attention is important.
I have also learnt that directors pick certain actors to play certain roles either they are good at that type of acting or that they look and fit a certain personality an example of this would be a killer wouldn't look pretty and beautiful he would look like a mysterious and creepy person.
Representation
I have learnt that films portray their characters according to there personality for example a person which has a very outgoing personality, one that likes talking to others and socialising with his/her friends would normally be with there friends and going out with there friends. And the way the they show the characters in places is also according to their personality such as the example I gave before the person would go out with friends maybe in restaurants, pubs or go shopping.
Also I have learnt that they are portrayed that the way that they are seen by the audience, in the film. An example of this is a cruel/cold-blooded person would go around killing people. Also they would be in places such as there home because people like these are very concealed people and do not talk much. A perfect example of this would be the Killer in Disturbia.
Audiences
I have learnt that audiences like to watch some particular genre's than others. I also have learnt that audience's expect things to happen according to the genre for example a romance film you would expect love and for a horror you would expect spooky, creepy and scary things to happen.
Also with the sound of things the audience want it to go according to the genre a sad movie would have some sad non-diegetic sound added in the background.I have also learnt that audiences want to see something different and something a little bit unique. They also want to spend time watching something they consider valuable and don't want to see something that is clichés.
